Jason and I spent all day yesterday at Pizza Hut Park for Edgefest 19 and it was so AWESOME!!! The lineup was as follows:

My favorites were Electric Touch, Shinedown, Papa Roach and of course Blue October. Those guys get more intense and more amazing every time I see them in concert. I hope they come back and play a more intimate venue soon. Holy crap what I would give to spend the day with Justin Furstenfeld. There is so much genius going on inside his head, it's scary. I'm far from worthy enough to even have a conversation with him. They've come such a long way from when they first got popular in high school. Almost not even the same band anymore, save for the lyrical talent.

Anyway, the tickets to this concert were our gift to each other for our anniversary. I hope we can keep rocking out together for many years to come!

Cinco anos

Today is our 5 year anniversary! 5 years ago Jason finally got the nerve to ask me to be his girlfriend and I've never doubted it once. Here's to hoping the next 5 are as easy as the first.

Oh and we did nothing to celebrate. He didn't remember until I reminded him, and then I went to work. Romance is not his forte. We are sitting for our nephew tomorrow, so we can pretend we are celebrating then - with the bonus addition of an adorably cute baby!
