Chivalry ain't dead
Today we went grocery shopping. Not an unusual event. While we were in the store it started to rain. When we left, without even asking, Jason went and got the car and pulled up to the door. Then he got out and helped me load everything into the trunk. It wasn't raining that hard, and no I wasn't going to melt, but it was a sweet gesture, made even sweeter by the fact that I didn't have to ask him to do it but rather he volunteered!

Not personal
Last night Jason and I were watching some TV. An infomercial came on and it was some guy who apparently thinks he's some kind of a love expert. I think he was selling some program he teaches about romance. Dude looks like a professor type, one that has spent a lot of time chasing tail but not getting much. "Putting the p on a pedestal" so to speak (40yo Virgin, anyone?)
Anyway, he was making some suggestions about how to add a little romance to your love life. Among them included a bath together, a massage with scented oils, silly dancing in the living room, and.... taking out the trash.
Oh yes, he equated taking out the trash to a sensual massage. Needless to say, Jason now thinks he's off the hook when it comes to romance.
"But honey," he says, "I took out the trash."
Great. Thanks professor.

Out with the old
My husband got a new cell phone. His was old and dirty and falling apart and half broken.
My husband got a new iPhone. He spent all night playing with it, hardly listening to a word I said.
His old phone plan didn't allow for texting. His new one does. When he went to bed he sent his first text to me:
"Don't worry honey. I still love you."
He has proceeded to text me several times telling me that he loves me.
Man I love the iPhone!

Yeah, yeah, I know
I've totally neglected this blog. I guess life got in the way. More realistically, I just plum forgot to sign in and update. But lots has happened that makes me love my husband a little more each day.
I do think today is a fitting day to revive and update, because it's our year-and-a-half marriage anniversary! Yay for us :)
In honor of this day, I am posting the "ABCs of Jason" that I wrote I don't know how long ago. It's all still true, and some is even more true as of late ;)
Arousing scent
